Siniat Weather Defence is an external sheathing board option to keep buildings weathertight.
Ideal for external insulation and finishing systems, Siniat Weather Defence is an excellent product if you are looking for a cost-effective and speedy build as the board is easy to cut and install on site.
Weather Defence is easy to manage and can be cut without the use of traditional power tools. These lightweight boards can be cut without the use of expensive blades using the ‘score and snap’ method. There is no dust or flying fragments when cutting so can ideally even be cut on site.
When high thermal efficiency is important, Weather Defence benefits from excellent airtight properties meaning a great choice if sustainability is in mind.
The gypsum core property of Weather Defence means the product can offer superior moisture, fire and sound resistance, which has been tested and certified by BBA.
Ideal applications include use with steel infill panels, full light steel framing as well as timber and concrete frame constructions.
