Rockpanel boards are known for their unique natural basalt rock composition, composed of compressed mineral wool boards and synthetic binders. It is this composition which gives Rockpanel Stones panels high levels of environmentally friendly and sustainability. The lightweight panels are also easy to handle on site prior to installation thanks to this natural composition.
The Rockpanel Stones range is available in three different finishes, mineral, basalt and concrete, and over 10 different colour options. As standard Rockpanel Stones comes with a ProtectPlus finish. The ProtectPlus finish treats the panels with a four layer water borne polymer emulsion paint, creating a colourfast design.
There are two types of Rockpanel Stones panels available:
Durable – For general applications across the roofline and façade cladding
FS Xtra – FS Xtra fulfil the highest of safety requirements. FS Xtra boards are classified as non-combustible according to building regulations, receiving an A2-s1, d0 European fire rating. They show a low level of smoke development and no formation of burning droplets.
