BBS Facades will only promote fire-rated ACM cladding for high-rise buildings
As a result of the recent findings following the Grenfell Tower fire BBS Facades will now only promote A2 fire rating ACM cladding panels for use on high rise buildings. As a result of the complex safety standards in place in the UK, we wanted to ensure that there are no unintentional specification errors.
BBS Facades offer a wide range of A2 fire rated ACM panels, including Vitrabond and Larson.
Vitracore G2 is the latest addition to the Vitrabond family. Vitracore G2 is an A2 fire rated ACM panel comprising an aluminium profiled core sandwiched between two aluminium skins. The specialist Vitracore technology is able to provide a high level of combustibility protection, therefore making it suitable for installation on high rise structures.
The latest addition to the Larson range is Larcore A2 honeycomb panels, a new generation of lightweight ACM panels designed with a unique aluminium honeycomb core. With a high quality guarantee, Larson Larcore A2 honeycomb panels are able to be produced in larger pieces up to 2 meters in width and 15 meters in length.
BBS Facades supply ACM panels from brands including Vitrabond, Larson, Stacbond and Alucobond. For more information on the A2 fire rated panels available from BBS Facades contact your local branch.
