Class 2 Driver – Cheltenham

The Role:  Full time, permanent

Reporting To: Branch Manager

Hours:  Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30 (1 hour’s unpaid lunch)

Location:  Units 1 & 2, The Runnings, Cheltenham, GL51 9NJ

Remuneration: Competitive dependent on experience

Job Purpose:

We are excited to share a fantastic opportunity, for an experienced Class 2 Driver with a Moffett, and Manitou Licence to join a successful, growing business.

The individual will be responsible for delivering our products safely to our customers whilst representing the Company with a professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver customer products, representing the Company to the highest standard
• Loading and unloading products onto the vehicle using a Moffett and Manitou
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security of the work environment, vehicle and products
• Ensure the Company vehicle is maintained in line with Company standards
• Liaise with internal colleagues in regards to customer orders and deliveries
• Any other reasonable duties a requested by management

Please note that this will change as the role and function to the business develops

Person Specification – Essential:

• Valid full clean driving licence (Category C, held for at least 5 years and be at least 25 years old)
• Valid CPC Qualification
• Previous experience of multi-drop deliveries
• Forklift truck/Manitou certificate
• Flexibility with attendance as overnight deliveries and early starts will be required
• Understanding of and commitment to provide the highest standard of customer service

Desirable:

• Experience in a construction environment
